Disabled Access

Disabled access to the main hall, committee room and the reception lounge (café) is via a lift, just inside the main entrance.

EVACUATION PROCEDURES FOR WHEELCHAIR USERS OR THOSE WITH IMPAIRED MOBILITY

In the event of an evacuation of the Hall, for whatever reason, please note that the lift MUST NOT BE USED.

If you are on the UPPER FLOOR, escapes with temporary resting places are situated:

Outside the door beside the café servery . This location is fitted with ONE EVACUATION CHAIR and ONE EVACUATION SLEDGE,
On the landing outside the Kitchen at the top of the stairs. This location is fitted with ONE EVACUATION CHAIR.

All Fire doors themselves are designed to resist fire and smoke for one hour.

If you are on the LOWER FLOOR, escapes situated at the foot of the kitchen stairs and in the link corridor lead on to level pathways.

Exits from both Entrances also lead on to level pathways.
