Back in 2012, we received a catering enquiry from a couple who had their wedding booked at Killearn Village Hall. We were WOWED when we arrived at the venue for an initial site visit - even the kitchen had phenomenal views! We felt as if we had been transported to a secluded rural idyll, and yet we were only 30 minutes from Glasgow. The function space was immediately inviting yet large enough to be completely flexible, offering the ability to utilise various parts of the building, including the outdoor glebe, throughout the day.
After a year of operating events at the hall, we’ve coordinated weddings of all shapes and sizes. The beauty of Killearn Village Hall is its versatility – one week sees the hall transformed in to a cosy, autumnal hunting lodge, the next it’s bedecked with one thousand origami paper cranes hanging from glowing festoon lights!
From the outset of our wedding catering business, we have always taken it upon ourselves to ‘go the extra mile’ and rather than adopting the attitude ‘we’re just the caterer’, we include our wedding co-ordination service as part of our catering packages. This means that beyond providing delicious, colourful, fresh and tasty food, Three Sisters Bake will oversee the smooth running of your day from start to finish, covering all elements including ceremony preparations, décor assistance, bar set up and service as well as the provision of our trained team of wedding staff who will be on hand throughout the day. Our style of service is informal and unobtrusive. We also set up the hall, oversee turnover from ceremony to dinner, then deconstruct and tidy up at the end of the night, meaning you don’t have to worry about any of these details on the day!
